Our Process

 

We currently only offer 18kt Yellow Gold plating, which is a warm gold.

 

Quality is very important to us.  We take the time to check your piece is suitable for plating and make sure to our best ability to check stones will not fall out of place.  If we think there may be an issue or polishing will be needed we will get in touch to confirm what you would like to do.

Pricing

You can either send your jewellery straight to us for a quote or send images with approximate dimensions to studio@lumioplating.com.

Final confirmed prices are only sent in an invoice via email once items have been plated. 

​

For trade customers, we understand how important it is to try and keep your end prices consistent for your customers.  So on designs you plate often with us we will fix the price for 6 months.  This will be reviewed and is subject to change according with our business needs.

Lead Times

​

We aim to turn orders around in 1-2 working days once jewellery has arrived in the studio.

​

Orders will be sent out on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

​

We do our best to keep the website updated with dates our studio is closed.  Please send an email to studio@lumioplating.com if you would like to be kept up to date with our new services and closing dates.

Promotion

​

As a little thank you for using our services we would like to promote your business through our social media.

With your permission we would like to use images of your plated jewellery designs on our Instagram account.  We would tag your own account and hopefully write something witty and wonderful too.  This way we can give great content and you will have another outlet to broaden your audience.
